Senior Compliance Advisor

We are currently partnering with a leading global trading and investment firm on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Compliance Advisor to join its Singapore team. This is a highly visible regional role, partnering closely with the business across Asia-Pacific, with particular focus on China, trading activities, metals and evolving regulatory requirements. What makes this role interesting? 🔹 Regional coverage across multiple APAC markets 🔹 Exposure to physical & derivatives trading 🔹 Opportunity to support China-related business activities 🔹 Involvement in new products, markets and business initiatives 🔹 Exposure to market conduct, exchange rules and regulatory matters 🔹 Broad advisory remit across ABC, financial crime, sanctions and wider compliance 🔹 Regular interaction with senior stakeholders across the business We’re looking for: • Experienced compliance, regulatory, legal or risk professionals • Ideally from commodities, energy, trading or financial markets • Strong understanding of regulatory and conduct requirements • Experience advising on trading activities, market conduct or exchange rules • China and/or metals experience is a strong plus • Strong English and Mandarin/Chinese communication skills • Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable operating autonomously
