Accounts Payable Officer

About The Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and financial records while supporting the smooth operation of our hotel portfolio. - Process supplier invoices, expense claims, and payment requests accurately and on time. - Ensure payments are made according to agreed credit terms. - Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve discrepancies. - Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for audits and compliance. - Assist with month-end accounts payable reconciliations and reporting. - Work closely with Purchasing, Receiving, and Operations teams to resolve payment-related issues. - Support VAT and other statutory reporting requirements. - Follow Hyatt policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures Qualifications Qualifications & Experience - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within hospitality. - Good knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Experience with hotel accounting systems is an advantage.
