Master Carpenter

Role Description The Master Carpenter will oversee and perform high-level carpentry work for custom wood projects, ensuring accuracy, durability, and superior finish. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting drawings and specifications, planning project workflows, measuring and cutting materials, assembling structures, and executing detailed finish carpentry. The role involves supervising and guiding junior carpenters, coordinating with project managers and other trades, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. The Master Carpenter will inspect completed work for quality, troubleshoot issues on-site, and ensure adherence to project timelines and standards. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai. Qualifications - Strong carpentry skills, including structural and decorative work across various project types. - Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, with a focus on safe and efficient operation. - Experience in framing and related construction techniques for walls, ceilings, and structural elements. - Advanced finish carpentry skills, including installation of doors, windows, cabinetry, moldings, and bespoke wood details. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. - Proven experience in a senior or master carpenter role, preferably within high-end or custom projects. - Strong leadership, mentoring, and team coordination abilities on job sites. - Commitment to workplace safety, quality control, and adherence to local building codes and standards. - Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades. - Relevant vocational training or certification in carpentry or a related field; additional trade qualifications are an advantage.
