Executive Director, Technology Investment

Our Client is an alternative investment management arm of one of the Asia's leading investment banking and capital markets groups with a long history of track record. The Position will work as the PE professional investment manager for the platform with a 5 billion USD AUM. Responsible for growth private equity investment in the China and Asia Market, focusing on Tech investment, including Smart Manufacturing, New Materials, and TMT industry. Responsibilities - Responsible for the development, deal sourcing, execution, portfolio and post-investment management of growth-stage equity investment projects in Greater China and the Asian markets according to the fund's investment strategy. - Conduct analysis and mapping of sub-sectors in advanced technology fields and identify investment opportunities. - Collaborating with the fund team in other Asian countries to proceed with multinational investment deals - Formulate deal structures and negotiate legal documentation with investment targets. - Regularly manage the post-investment portfolio, providing value-add whenever possible. - Generate quarterly valuations and portfolio reports. - Collaborate with other departments to complete daily fund management tasks. Requirements - Master’s degree or above, showcasing excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities gained from a sophisticated educational institution - More than 15 years of stable working experience in HK or overseas markets, with 10+ years in PE fund investment, USD VC/ growth funds with an industry-specific investment background - Familiarity with advanced technology fields in Greater China and the Asia-Pacific region is preferred. Candidates with industry-specific investment backgrounds would be an absolute advantage. - Solid knowledge in Asia PE market development; HK/ US/ A share listing, with a track record in related stock markets; USD investment experience is preferred - Good work ethic with ability to work effectively and under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Team-player and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, with Cantonese as a bonus Application: Please submit your resume along with your current and expected salary.
