Business Development Manager - AI Solution

Business Development | AI | Government Projects | Construction Your new company My client is establishing a new business unit focused on delivering AI-enhanced hardware automation solutions, with an initial focus on water treatment and transportation infrastructure. This is a new headcount in a start-up-style environment within a well-established organisation, offering strong growth potential and the opportunity to shape the future of automation in infrastructure. The base salary will be in the range of 40-50K per month plus bonuses. It is important for the candidate to have connections with the government already, i.e. WSD, EMSD, MTR, HA etc. Your new role - Promote AI, machine learning, and digital automation solutions to government departments, and public sector clients. - Identify and develop new business opportunities, particularly in public infrastructure markets. - Represent the company in a professional and dynamic manner to enhance brand visibility and profitability. - Engage and negotiate with potential clients to ensure alignment with their requirements while maximising company value. - Review and interpret tender documents to ensure compliance and competitiveness. - Prepare accurate cost estimations and ensure timely, well-presented tender submissions. What you'll need to succeed - Degree or above in Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines. - Minimum 5 years of sales experience in AI application solutions; candidates with less experience may be considered for a Sales Engineer role. - Strong communication and presentation skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin - Proven ability to work independently and aggressively pursue new business. - Knowledge of AI solutions and automation technologies is highly preferred. - Strong analytical mindset and customer service orientation.
