Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Driver role based in Sharjah. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering products to customers and business locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include inspecting the vehicle, maintaining cleanliness, checking delivery documentation, and ensuring that orders are complete and accurate. The role involves interacting with customers in a professional manner, obtaining signatures or delivery confirmations, handling basic payment or proof-of-delivery processes when required, and reporting any issues or delays to the supervisor. The Delivery Driver also supports basic warehouse or loading operations, follows all traffic and safety regulations, and assists with returns or exchanges as needed. Qualifications - Strong customer service skills to communicate clearly, handle questions, and ensure a positive delivery experience. - Experience in forklift operation or basic warehouse equipment handling is beneficial for loading and unloading goods. - Ability to participate in and benefit from training programs focused on safety, procedures, and route optimization. - Background in sales or food & beverage is an advantage, especially for handling deliveries to retail, hospitality, or restaurant clients. - Valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle type used; clean driving record and good knowledge of Sharjah roads. - Ability to lift and move packages safely, follow safety guidelines, and work on your feet for extended periods. - Basic reading and writing skills to manage delivery notes, receipts, and route instructions. - Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required.
