Job Description

Role Description We are seeking a visionary, strategic, and results-oriented Executive Director to provide overall leadership and direction for the organization. The role is responsible for translating the organization’s mission and strategic priorities into effective plans, strong operational performance, and sustainable long-term development. You will work closely with the Board of Directors and senior leadership to establish strategic objectives, monitor organizational performance, and ensure that resources, capabilities, and operations are aligned with key priorities. You will oversee major financial, operational, governance, organizational, and strategic matters while promoting accountability, transparency, efficiency, and responsible decision-making. The role involves developing and executing organizational strategies, monitoring financial and operational performance, managing key risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and requirements. You will identify opportunities for growth, partnerships, innovation, and organizational improvement while addressing challenges that may affect strategic objectives. You will build and maintain strong relationships with employees, partners, investors, government bodies, community representatives, and other key stakeholders. You will represent the organization professionally and communicate its vision, priorities, performance, and achievements to internal and external audiences. You will also foster a high-performing and collaborative culture, support leadership development, encourage innovation, and ensure that teams remain focused on delivering measurable outcomes aligned with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic direction.Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field. - Strong understanding of organizational strategy, governance, financial management, operations, and performance management. - Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to assess complex issues and establish clear priorities. - Ability to translate organizational objectives into actionable plans, measurable KPIs, and sustainable results. - Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, resource allocation, performance analysis, and risk management. - Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to build trusted relationships with boards, executives, employees, partners, government bodies, and external stakeholders. - Strong understanding of governance, compliance, organizational policies, and ethical leadership. - High level of integrity, accountability, discretion, and professional judgment. - Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach to organizational challenges. - Ability to lead organizational change, inspire teams, and promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. -
