Job Description

About Maison Muguet Maison Muguet is a Hong Kong-based modern jewellery house founded in 2020. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Growth & E-commerce Manager to build and own the commercial engine connecting brand demand to qualified traffic, online conversion, customer retention and profitable revenue across Hong Kong and the US. This role may be based in the United States, or in Hong Kong for a candidate with strong hands-on experience growing e-commerce businesses in the US market. This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded operator with strong e-commerce, Meta performance marketing, CRM and analytics capabilities. You will work directly with the Founder and have meaningful ownership over our digital growth, particularly in the US. You will also play a key commercial role in the growth of Louve and Solentina, Maison Muguet’s owned jewellery brands. This is not a reporting-only or agency-management position. The successful candidate must be comfortable working directly inside e-commerce, advertising, CRM and analytics platforms, diagnosing problems, setting priorities and driving implementation through to completion. The Role Reporting directly to the Founder, you will own Maison Muguet’s e-commerce and growth agenda across Hong Kong and the US. You will work closely with the Brand Marketing, Content and Operations teams to connect: Product → Creative → Traffic → Conversion → CRM → Repeat Purchase Your role is to turn brand demand into measurable, profitable revenue while developing a stronger understanding of our US customers and long-term market potential. Key ResponsibilitiesE-commerce Ownership - Own the commercial performance and development roadmap of Maison Muguet’s e-commerce business across Hong Kong and the US. - Manage and continuously improve the Shopify journey, from landing page and product discovery through checkout and post-purchase. - Identify major funnel drop-offs and prioritise improvements based on commercial impact. - Manage website merchandising, homepage priorities, product pages, landing pages and campaign pages. - Improve navigation, product information, trust signals, checkout experience and conversion. - Ensure campaigns, launches and product drops are commercially and technically ready. - Lead US e-commerce development, reviewing market-specific requirements including shipping, payments, returns, customer service and pricing presentation. - Coordinate effectively with developers, agencies and external technical partners when required. Paid Acquisition & Growth - Own Meta advertising strategy, campaign setup, testing, optimisation and budget recommendations across Hong Kong and the US. - Build disciplined prospecting and retargeting structures for both markets. - Develop and refine US customer-acquisition strategies based on market response and customer economics. - Diagnose whether performance issues are driven by creative, demand, targeting, website experience, pricing, merchandising or offer. - Build a structured creative-testing process with the Founder and Content team, identifying which founder, brand and product content should be amplified. - Establish clear criteria for scaling, reducing or stopping campaigns. - Evaluate paid activity based on customer quality, contribution economics and long-term value—not only revenue or ROAS. - Identify differences between Hong Kong and US customer behaviour and adapt acquisition strategies accordingly. - Support selected China digital activity only where commercially justified. CRM & Customer Lifecycle - Build and continuously improve Maison Muguet’s CRM and lifecycle-marketing strategy. - Segment customers by recency, frequency, spending, product interest, geography and engagement. - Build and optimise welcome, browse-abandonment, cart-abandonment, checkout, post-purchase, reactivation and retention journeys. - Adapt CRM strategy and messaging for US customers where relevant. - Develop VIP, referral, gifting and repeat-purchase programmes connected to hero products, campaigns and launches. - Monitor CRM-attributed revenue, engagement, repeat purchase and reactivation. - Partner with the Senior Brand & Marketing Executive on CRM execution and campaign scheduling. - Identify opportunities to increase customer lifetime value and reduce dependence on constant new-customer acquisition. Analytics & Commercial Reporting - Own weekly reporting across traffic, conversion, AOV, acquisition, CRM and e-commerce performance. - Analyse new versus returning customers and compare performance across Hong Kong and the US. - Track and interpret conversion rate, AOV, CAC, ROAS, MER, CRM revenue, repeat purchase, customer value and contribution after marketing. - Build reporting that explains what happened, why it happened and what should happen next. - Identify the highest-value commercial problems rather than simply reporting statistics. - Build and manage a prioritised testing roadmap. - Recommend where budgets and internal resources should be increased, reduced or stopped. - Work with the Founder to set commercial priorities across both markets. Product Launch & Cross-functional Growth - Build the e-commerce and growth strategy supporting Louve and Solentina launches, including their US-market potential. - Translate growth requirements into campaign deliverables and deadlines with the Brand Marketing team. - Brief the Content team on required formats, hooks, product angles and paid-media variations. - Ensure product pages, landing pages, CRM, tracking, retargeting and paid campaigns are ready before launch. - Develop market-specific tests, conduct post-launch analysis and recommend reorders, creative changes, merchandising adjustments or funnel improvements. - Help increase the commercial contribution of Maison Muguet’s owned brands and improve inventory efficiency. Requirements - 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in e-commerce, growth, digital commerce, performance marketing or a related field. - Strong hands-on experience managing Shopify or a comparable e-commerce platform. - Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager. - Experience with CRM and lifecycle platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp or similar tools. - Experience with GA4, Meta Pixel and related analytics and tracking systems. - Demonstrated success improving conversion, customer acquisition, CRM revenue or other measurable commercial outcomes. - Strong understanding of traffic, conversion, AOV, CAC, ROAS, retention and contribution economics. - Ability to interpret data and turn analysis into clear commercial action. - Ability to work personally inside the systems rather than relying entirely on agencies. - Strong project-management and cross-functional communication skills. - Sufficient aesthetic and consumer judgment to evaluate whether creative is both on-brand and commercially effective. - Experience in jewellery, fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle or another premium consumer category is strongly preferred. - Demonstrated hands-on experience in the US e-commerce market is required. - Candidates may be based in the US, or in Hong Kong with proven experience managing US-market e-commerce growth. - Experience managing cross-border e-commerce between Asia and the US is an advantage. - Proficient in English. Chinese is preferred for candidates working closely with the Hong Kong team; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is advantageous but not essential for US-based candidates. The Right Person You are likely to succeed in this role if you: - Are commercially curious and look beyond surface-level metrics to understand why customers do or do not convert. - Can distinguish between traffic, product-demand, creative and conversion problems. - Understand the US digital consumer and how customer behaviour differs across markets. - Can work directly inside Shopify, Meta, CRM and analytics systems. - Balance premium brand standards with commercial discipline. - Challenge assumptions with evidence and communicate clearly across creative, operational and technical teams. - Take ownership of outcomes and follow problems through to closure. - Enjoy building systems in an evolving business rather than inheriting a finished operation. - Can prioritise ruthlessly and focus resources on the actions most likely to improve commercial performance. Success in the First Six Months Success would include: - A clear, prioritised e-commerce and growth roadmap for Hong Kong and the US. - A reliable weekly commercial dashboard that consistently drives decisions and action. - Major Shopify funnel drop-offs understood and priority conversion improvements implemented. - Clear Meta prospecting, retargeting, creative-testing and economic thresholds. - Paid-media decisions increasingly based on customer quality and contribution economics. - CRM lifecycle journeys established or materially improved, with retention and CRM revenue becoming more measurable. - Hong Kong online acquisition becoming more systematic and repeatable. - A structured US acquisition and conversion strategy established. - US customer behaviour, hero products, acquisition economics and conversion barriers better understood. - Controlled US tests producing clear conclusions on what to scale, improve or stop. - Louve and Solentina supported by functioning acquisition, conversion, CRM and retargeting systems. - The Founder no longer needing to manage day-to-day e-commerce, performance advertising and technical growth execution.
