Regional Finance Systems Specialist (SAP S4/HANA FICO)

Department: Enterprise Solutions & Technology Reporting To: Application Systems Manager Team Size: 5 Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Finance System Specialist to take full functional ownership of our core SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions. Operating within an established Regional ERP team, you will drive continuous solution enhancements and provide Level-2 functional support across our business units. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between key finance stakeholders and central governance/L3 technical teams, ensuring high system availability, alignment with regional templates, and execution of digital transformation projects. Key Responsibilities - Project Delivery & Enhancements: Drive greenfield projects, rollouts, enhancement, process automations, and functional upgrades with focus on FI/CO module across the APAC region. - Functional Domain Ownership: Act as the subject matter expert for the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FI/CO environment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve L2 incidents within SLA targets, coordinating with central L3 technical teams and external vendors for complex technical enhancements or core system updates. - Business Partnering & Configuration: Analyze end-to-end financial workflows, conduct solution design workshops with key stakeholders, and execute hands-on S/4HANA configurations following SAP best practices. - Knowledge Transfer & Documentation: Prepare detailed functional design documents (FDDs), standard operating procedures, configuration rationale, and conduct structured end-user training. Target Candidate Profile - SAP FI/CO Expertise: 4+ years of direct, hands-on SAP FI/CO implementation experience, with strong proficiency in configurations. - S/4HANA Architecture: Proven experience working in native SAP S/4HANA environments, including familiarity with modern business partner (BP) structures, simplified data models, and Fiori application usage is a plus. - L2/L3 Coordination: Solid track record as SAP FI/CO functional owner to perform L2 support with effective bridge of users requirement to global L3 build/development teams. - Communication & Languages: Good command in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to collaborate across regional business units and central headquarters teams.
