Logistics Assistant Manager (must have high-value experience)

1. Regional Logistics Operations - Assist in implementing the regional logistics strategy in line with the company’s global direction and APAC business growth objectives. - Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives aimed at shortening end-to-end lead times, increasing operational agility, and reducing supply chain risks. - Act as a key logistics liaison between APAC country teams and the France Headquarters, providing strategic guidance and operational support. 2. 3PL & 4PL Partner Management and Performance - Support the sourcing, appointment, relationship management, and ongoing assessment of third-party and fourth-party logistics providers across warehousing, freight, and domestic distribution. - Establish, monitor, and maintain effective Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve high service standards while controlling logistics costs. - Lead regular performance reviews with logistics partners to identify improvement opportunities, encourage innovation, and conduct root-cause analysis when service issues occur. 3. End-to-End Logistics & Shipment Management - Coordinate and oversee regional logistics activities, covering international freight, warehouse inbound operations, and final-mile deliveries to retail stores. - Plan and manage logistics requirements for special initiatives, including new store launches, furniture deliveries, and the transportation of hazardous materials such as paints. - Improve shipment consolidation and intra-Asia inventory transfers to enhance operational efficiency and achieve cost reductions. 4. Trade Compliance & Inventory Management - Act as the regional point of expertise for trade compliance, ensuring import and export activities comply with applicable local and international regulations. - Coordinate the acquisition of required import/export permits and manage customs clearance and brokerage processes. - Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy across APAC warehouses through the implementation, monitoring, and auditing of cycle counting and annual stocktake processes. - Oversee warehouse capacity planning and WMS integration to ensure inventory information remains accurate, current, and visible in real time. 5. Reporting, Analytics & Cross-Functional Coordination - Deliver regular and meaningful logistics performance reports to management, covering key indicators such as lead times, unit logistics costs, and carrier performance. - Investigate and communicate logistics discrepancies, customs duties, tax expenses, and other relevant operational metrics. - Work closely with Retail, IT, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to maintain an integrated, efficient, and compliant regional supply chain.
