Job Description
We’re seeking energetic and versatile Part-Time Event Assistants who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy hands-on work. This is not a typical event role — you’ll be involved in everything from setup to guest experience, with the opportunity to earn $100 per hour. What you’ll do - Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving and handling heavy event equipment safely and efficiently - Provide excellent customer service — welcome guests, manage the crowd, answer questions, and ensure everything runs smoothly - Support on-site operations to keep the event atmosphere positive and organised - Occasionally take photos of the event and guests - Guide participants in DIY workshops when required (no prior teaching experience needed — just a friendly, helpful attitude) Who we’re looking for - Physically fit and comfortable with lifting/moving heavy items - Strong customer service skills and a warm, professional presence - Able to stay calm and proactive when managing crowds - Willing to multi-task and jump between different duties - Basic photography skills or willingness to learn is a plus - Reliable, positive, and ready to contribute to a great guest experience Why this role stands out - Attractive rate: $100 per hour - Part-time & flexible — shifts based on event schedules - Varied and engaging work (no two events are the same) - Opportunity to develop practical event, customer service, and workshop facilitation skills If you’re someone who enjoys being on your feet, interacting with people, and taking pride in making events run seamlessly, we’d love to hear from you.
