Our portfolio of around 22 active investments is deliberately concentrated — we back a small number of exceptional businesses and get deeply involved in their growth. Cohesion Asset Management, a fund management business, is the standout performer in that portfolio. Its flagship strategy, Cohesion MK Best Ideas, has built an outstanding track record investing in Indian equities — returning 29% in USD terms in Q2 2026 alone, nearly six times the 5% delivered by the MSCI India ETF over the same period, and over 250% cumulatively since its 2020 launch. That performance is the product of a genuinely differentiated approach: rigorous, on-the-ground research and high-conviction positions built on deep, hard-won knowledge of the Indian market. Now Cohesion is expanding into Hong Kong — and we’re looking for the right person to help lead that charge at board level. The Opportunity You’ll work directly with Cohesion’s Founder and CEO as a trusted advisor and board-level sounding board, helping the business build its investor base among Hong Kong family offices and HNWIs. This isn’t a passive advisory seat — it’s a genuine opportunity to shape strategy and open doors for one of the most successful funds in Hamilton Bradshaw’s portfolio. You’ll be involved in: - Expanding Cohesion’s investor base across Hong Kong - Advising on the nuances and dynamics of the Hong Kong market - Arranging and hosting local investor events - Shaping go-to-market and investor strategy Who We’re Looking For You’re a senior financial services professional — ideally with a background in private wealth, asset management, or fund distribution — who brings genuine credibility and existing relationships within the Hong Kong family office and HNWI community. You’re commercially sharp, comfortable at board level, and just as happy rolling up your sleeves as setting direction. You bring: - Board-level or senior executive leadership experience - A strong network among Hong Kong family offices, HNWIs, or private wealth channels - Financial literacy and the ability to interpret and challenge fund performance - Exposure to private equity, M&A, consulting, or professional services environments - Experience working with founder-led, entrepreneurial businesses - The gravitas to engage senior stakeholders — and the emotional intelligence to build real trust with founders - Strong integrity, discretion, and professionalism Why This Role This is a rare chance to join the board of a genuinely high-performing fund at a pivotal moment in its growth, backed by one of the UK’s most established private equity platforms — and to work directly alongside a leadership team with a track record most of the industry can only point to on paper.
