Role Description The Site Engineer – MEP Industry is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating MEP activities on site, ensuring work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. The Site Engineer monitors daily progress, conducts site inspections, oversees quality control checks, and resolves technical issues in collaboration with project stakeholders. The role includes preparing site reports, verifying material deliveries, supporting testing and commissioning, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements. The Site Engineer also liaises with civil and structural teams to integrate MEP works smoothly into overall construction activities. Qualifications - Strong on-site supervision skills with experience managing day-to-day MEP construction activities and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. - Effective communication abilities for interacting with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams, including clear reporting and documentation. - Demonstrated experience in quality control, including inspection of works, verification of materials, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. - Sound understanding of structural engineering principles and the interaction between MEP systems and civil/structural elements. - Background as a civil engineer or related engineering discipline, with practical exposure to MEP projects in building or infrastructure environments. - Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field; equivalent technical qualifications with relevant experience may be considered. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and relevant codes; familiarity with common design and site coordination software is an advantage. - Ability to prioritize tasks, meet project deadlines, and maintain high standards under site conditions; prior experience in Dubai or the GCC region is beneficial.
