Associate - Loan Syndication

We are looking for an experienced Associate to join the Loan Syndication Department in Hong Kong, focusing on syndicated loan origination, structuring, and distribution across Asian markets. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct credit and financing analysis on corporate clients for syndicated loan transactions - Prepare pitches, term sheets, proposal packages, and marketing materials - Report to the Executive Director, working in a with a small close-knit team. - Maintain a loan deal database covering pricing, structure, and investor appetite; support secondary asset sales with axe sheets - Draft underwriting discussion papers and memos, supporting senior team members with liquidity and pricing analysis - Drive primary syndication activities, including Information Memoranda, bank lists, invitation letters, roadshow logistics, and site visits - Support secondary distribution from investor sourcing through to execution - Coordinate documentation, compliance matters, and internal reporting Requirements: - University graduate with 4 years of experience in corporate/commercial banking, credit research, or syndicated loan origination/structuring/distribution - Strong credit knowledge, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and corporate financing structures - Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities - Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail - A collaborative team player with the ability to work under supervision - Must be appointed as a Relevant Individual to conduct regulated activities on behalf of the branch
