The candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience: Technical Requirements - Hands-on experience in the installation of Heat Shrink, Cold Shrink, and Pre-Moulded cable joints and terminations. - Experience working with both XLPE and PILC cable systems. - Ability to install and commission straight joints, outdoor/indoor terminations, and separable connectors for medium-voltage cable systems. - Knowledge of cable preparation, connector crimping, earthing, stress control, insulation rebuilding, sealing, and final installation practices. Project Experience - Experience in site installation, commissioning, and supervision of cable accessory projects. - Ability to coordinate with utilities, consultants, contractors, and end users during project execution. - Familiarity with installation practices and utility requirements for medium-voltage distribution networks. Testing and Commissioning Knowledge The candidate should have practical knowledge of field testing and commissioning activities, including: - Insulation Resistance (IR) Test - AC High Voltage (VLF/AC Withstand) Test - Partial Discharge (PD) Test - Sheath Integrity Test - Continuity and Earth Resistance Test - Phase Identification and Cable Testing - Commissioning procedures before cable energization - Preparation of testing records and commissioning reports Additional Requirements - Ability to identify and troubleshoot installation and commissioning issues in cable accessories. - Good communication and reporting skills. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting installation, commissioning, field troubleshooting, customer demonstrations, and technical assistance related to our medium-voltage cable accessories.
