We are currently hiring an experienced Recruitment Consultant to support one of our key Government clients within the power and utilities sector in Abu Dhabi for a 6 Month Contract(possible extension for an additional 6 months only) The ideal candidate will be a hands-on recruitment professional with a strong blend of in-house Talent Acquisition and UAE agency experience, along with direct exposure to hiring across the power and water value chain. This role will manage end-to-end recruitment across a range of professional and technical disciplines, requiring strong sourcing capabilities, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver at pace in a fast-moving environment. Position: Recruitment Consultant Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE – Onsite Employment: 6 Month Contract(Possible extension for an additional 6 months only) Key Responsibilities End-to-End Recruitment - Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy intake and role briefing through to sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding support - Partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, team structures, candidate profiles, and recruitment timelines - Manage multiple professional and technical vacancies simultaneously while maintaining quality and delivery timelines - Conduct detailed candidate interviews and assessments covering technical competencies, experience, communication skills, salary expectations, notice periods, and availability - Prepare high-quality candidate shortlists and screening summaries for hiring manager review - Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process Talent Sourcing & Market Mapping - Proactively source and engage candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, direct search, headhunting, referrals, networking, job boards, and recruitment databases - Build targeted talent pipelines across the power, water, utilities, energy, and IPP sectors - Conduct competitor mapping and talent research across the UAE and wider regional market - Develop relationships with both active and passive candidates across multiple technical disciplines and seniority levels - Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation expectations, competitor activity, and hiring trends Stakeholder & Candidate Management - Build strong relationships with hiring managers and HR stakeholders, providing regular recruitment updates and market insights - Advise stakeholders on sourcing strategies, talent availability, and potential recruitment challenges - Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle - Support offer negotiations, counteroffer management, notice-period discussions, and candidate closing - Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records, candidate information, and vacancy status within internal systems Qualifications & Experience - Minimum 5 years of Recruitment/Talent Acquisition experience - Previous in-house Talent Acquisition experience, ideally within a utility, power generation, water, energy, or IPP developer environment - Minimum 2 years of recruitment agency experience in the UAE - Strong understanding of the UAE talent market and established knowledge of relevant technical talent pools - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vacancies and deliver recruitment at pace - Strong direct sourcing, headhunting, talent mapping, and candidate assessment capability - Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, recruitment databases, and ATS platforms - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills - Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight recruitment deadlines - Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred - Currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately
