Mechanical Engineer (Singapore)

Job Summary Responsible for the mechanical design and engineering of industrial water/wastewater treatment systems, from detailed design through testing and commissioning. Key Responsibilities - Develop detailed mechanical designs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, and engineering calculations. - Prepare equipment datasheets, piping schedules, equipment lists, valve lists, and instrument lists. - Review 3D skid models, GA drawings, piping details, and skid structures for compliance with project specifications. - Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation (EIA) engineers and other project teams. - Manage vendor/fabricator/sub-contractor inquiries, quotations, and engineering deliverables. - Participate in internal and client design reviews. - Prepare O&M manuals and support testing and commissioning activities. Requirements - Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering. - 5–8 years of relevant experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment. - Strong experience in complex skid-based water treatment system design. - O&G industry experience is an advantage. - Knowledge of relevant industry standards and specifications. - Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively in multicultural teams. - Proficient in MS Office. - Willing to travel.
