Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Work Model: Onsite Experience: 6+ yearsJob Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize enterprise cloud and infrastructure platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Linux, infrastructure automation, networking, security, Terraform, and Ansible. The role will focus primarily on building and operating reliable, scalable, secure, and highly available cloud and platform infrastructure.Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. - Support OCI architecture, deployment, operations, and troubleshooting. - Manage Linux-based infrastructure and enterprise cloud platforms. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible. - Develop and maintain infrastructure automation workflows using GitLab. - Configure and troubleshoot networking, routing, connectivity, DNS, load balancing, and security controls. - Implement infrastructure security, hardening, access controls, and operational security best practices. - Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, and performance. - Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud issues and perform root cause analysis. - Support high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity requirements. - Collaborate with security, DevOps, networking, and application teams to deliver secure and reliable platforms. - Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages. - Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides. - Support continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform reliability.Required Skills & Experience - 6+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. - Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). - Strong Linux administration experience. - Hands-on experience with Terraform. - Hands-on experience with Ansible. - Experience with GitLab and infrastructure automation workflows. - Strong understanding of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and network security. - Experience with cloud infrastructure security and hardening. - Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills. - Experience with infrastructure monitoring and performance management. - Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Understanding of cloud architecture, high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.Preferred Skills - Experience with VMware, Kubernetes, Docker, or Nutanix. - Experience with AWS or GCP. - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management best practices. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or similar. - Relevant OCI, cloud, Linux, or infrastructure certifications.Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Key Competencies - Strong infrastructure troubleshooting and analytical skills - Cloud architecture and platform operations - Automation mindset - Strong networking and security understanding - Problem-solving and root-cause analysis - Ability to work independently and collaboratively - Strong documentation and communication skills - Willingness to work onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia -
