Demurrage Specialist - Tankers, Singapore

We are looking for an experienced Demurrage Claims Specialist to join an established shipping organisation in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years or more of hands-on experience in demurrage claims and be comfortable managing claims independently from calculation through negotiation and settlement. Key requirements: • 3–4+ years of relevant experience in demurrage / laytime claims • Strong knowledge of laytime calculations, charter party terms and claim documentation • Experience handling and negotiating demurrage claims with counterparties • Good understanding of shipping / tanker / commodity operations • Chinese speaking capability is required for communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders • Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills This would be a great opportunity for someone with solid demurrage claims experience who is looking to further develop their career within the shipping industry.
