Job Description

Role Description The Senior Director is a part-time, remote role responsible for providing strategic leadership across all public relations and media initiatives within the group. This includes setting the overall vision and goals, overseeing planning and execution of programs, and guiding discussions on emerging challenges and best practices in the field. The Senior Director will coordinate with government and private sector leaders, manage key stakeholder relationships, and support the development of events, forums, and content that align with the group’s mission. Day-to-day tasks may include reviewing and approving strategic plans and communications, mentoring team members and volunteers, facilitating virtual meetings and workshops, and ensuring that all activities reflect high professional and ethical standards. Qualifications - Strong background in public relations, media, or strategic communications, preferably with experience across both government and private sectors. - Demonstrated leadership experience in senior or director-level roles, with a track record of setting vision, managing stakeholders, and driving collaborative initiatives. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions, present ideas clearly, and engage diverse professional audiences remotely. - Proven ability to design and oversee programs, events, or forums focused on professional development, best practices, or industry dialogue. - Strong organizational and time-management skills suited to a part-time, remote leadership role, including comfort with digital collaboration tools and virtual meeting platforms. - Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory practices in all communications, with cultural awareness and sensitivity to regional contexts. - Relevant academic background in communications, media, public relations, or a related field is preferred, along with fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English.
