TIG Welder

Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To - Perform various welding operations such as Arc, TIG, Rod, and MIG/MAG welding, particularly within the food processing environment. - Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance welding on plant machinery, pipelines, tanks, and structural components. - Ensure all welding tasks meet food industry hygiene and quality standards. - Assist in the installation and fabrication of mechanical parts and equipment. - Collaborate with the maintenance team for routine and emergency maintenance needs. - Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the welding work area. - Ensure compliance with KDD’s safety protocols and State of Kuwait HSE regulations. - Work with production and other departments as needed for smooth operations. - Support documentation of work done and update maintenance records accordingly. Required Qualifications - ITI or official vocational certification in welding (preferred specialization in food processing industry). - Certified training in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, Rod Welding, and MIG/MAG Welding. - Minimum 4 years of relevant hands-on experience as a maintenance welder, preferably in the food manufacturing industry. - Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Required Professional Skills - Strong practical knowledge of industrial welding techniques and equipment. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. - Familiarity with hygienic welding standards for food-grade applications. - Basic understanding of machine operations and mechanical systems. - Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team. - Attention to detail and commitment to work quality and safety. - Ability to work under pressure and during emergency maintenance scenarios.
