Director of Renewable Energy

Role Description The Director of Renewable Energy is a part-time, remote role responsible for shaping and leading the agency’s renewable energy strategy and offerings. This role involves analyzing renewable energy markets, identifying opportunities to integrate sustainable energy concepts into client solutions, and advising internal teams on energy-related positioning for campaigns. The director will collaborate with marketing, business development, and client teams to design initiatives that highlight clean energy, energy efficiency, and sustainability in branding and communications. Daily tasks include reviewing energy policies and industry trends, providing strategic guidance on renewable energy projects, preparing insight reports and presentations, and representing the agency’s sustainability vision in client meetings and partnerships. Qualifications - Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret complex energy data, market trends, and regulatory information. - Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of the Renewable Energy sector and the broader Energy Industry, including key technologies, market drivers, and sustainability frameworks. - Candidates should possess experience in Energy Policy, with familiarity in regional and global regulations, incentives, and standards affecting renewable energy projects. - Candidates should possess practical understanding of Energy Management, including efficiency strategies and best practices for sustainable operations. - Additional beneficial qualifications include experience collaborating with marketing or communications teams, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present complex energy topics to non-technical audiences. - A bachelor’s degree or higher in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred, along with prior leadership or advisory experience in sustainability or energy-focused roles.
