About the role Serve as the primary Quality Assurance (QA) lead and main contact for all QRA and GxP-related responsibilities in Hong Kong and Macao. Independently lead the local quality system, GxP compliance, distribution quality, product quality activities, audit and inspection readiness, and third-party quality oversight. Coordinate local Regulatory Affairs activities and ensure regulatory obligations are managed in partnership with regional or global RA resources, as applicable. Key responsibilities - Lead individual quality assurance projects, applying advanced knowledge to enhance project performance and operational efficiency - Make operational decisions and perform quality control analysis on finished products - Monitor systems and processes, perform audits and inspections, and implement corrective actions to maintain product quality and safety - Serve as the focal point for quality-related issues, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements - Oversee quality systems and operating standards at the site, country, or regional level - Ensure adherence to GxP regulations, maintain accurate documentation, and complete required training - Promote a strong Quality Culture and regulatory awareness, driving the Quality System as a strategic business platform - Engage and motivate Quality Assurance personnel through training and feedback - Manage non-conformance investigations, audit preparation, and external audits - Handle quality control activities and product complaints What you’ll bring to Alcon: - Minimum BS Degree in Life Science or another relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as Quality Assurance - Fluent in English and Cantonese both in spoken and written - Computer literacy with standard software platforms - Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Knowledge - Customer oriented Communication Skill - Cross-functional collaborator and Collaborative team member Alcon Careers See your impact at alcon.com/careers ALCON IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER AND PARTICIPATES IN E-VERIFY Alcon takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment and our policies are not to discriminate in recruitment, hiring, training, promotion or other employment practices for reasons of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
