Role Description This is a full-time Handyman role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in Abu Dhabi with some tasks. The Handyman will perform general maintenance, minor repairs, and basic installation tasks in residential and commercial properties, including fixing fixtures, minor plumbing and electrical issues within competency, painting touch-ups, and carpentry-related repairs. Daily responsibilities include responding to service requests, assessing issues on-site, carrying out repairs safely and efficiently, and documenting work performed. The role also involves coordinating with pest control and cleaning teams, maintaining tools and equipment, following health and safety policies, and communicating clearly with clients and supervisors about job status and any follow-up work needed. Qualifications - Experience in general maintenance, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks. - Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely, and perform basic troubleshooting and repairs. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple work orders. - Good communication skills in English; ability to explain issues and solutions clearly to clients and team members. - Ability to work independently on-site and collaborate effectively with pest control and cleaning teams. - Basic knowledge of health, safety, and cleanliness standards in residential and commercial environments. - Physical ability to perform manual work, including lifting, standing, and working in various environments. - Previous experience in facilities maintenance, handyman services, or a related field is preferred. - Valid authorization to work in the UAE; driving license is an advantage.
