Job Description
Responsibilities: - Collecting and analyzing product-related materials, obtaining necessary permits and compliance documentation for importing goods into China and their subsequent distribution - Liaising with foreign suppliers regarding conformity assessment for perfumery and cosmetics, packaging, light industrial products, accessories, and related goods - Determining required sample quantities, overseeing the sample acquisition process (including coordination with courier services, logistics providers, and customs brokers), and analyzing received samples - Gathering information required for product labeling in accordance with current Chinese regulations - Working within area of expertise with certification bodies, logistics operators, and customs brokers on import shipments - Maintaining up-to-date records and monitoring the validity periods of issued certificates and permits - Keeping track of Chinese legislation related to certification, including regulations specific to perfumery and cosmetic products - Performing other tasks assigned by the manager within the scope of functional responsibilities Requirements: - Fluency in spoken and written English - Understanding of Chinese legal acts governing conformity assessment processes - Proven track record in preparing and obtaining permits for importing and selling goods within China - Hands-on experience with NMPA (National Medical Products Administration) including filing registration applications for imported products and export goods, as well as submitting regular reports - Experience coordinating with government authorities, logistics operators, customs brokers, and testing laboratories on product certification matters - Strong eye for detail and accuracy - Ability to process and organize large amount of information effectively - Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
