Manager / Senior Manager, International Partnerships

Job Description The A*STAR International Partnerships Office (IPO) is responsible for driving and coordinating A*STAR’s international partnerships and engagements in support of A*STAR’s mission. Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Manager / Senior Manager include: - Keeping abreast of global trends and risks that may impact on A*STAR’s international partnerships and engagements - Staffing incoming visits from foreign delegations and outgoing visits by A*STAR senior management - Facilitating A*STAR’s S&T MOUs and agreements with international partners - Assisting in the management of Singapore’s RIE ecosystem-level bilateral grant calls and joint programmes - Managing A*STAR’s bilateral partnerships with portfolio countries in support of national/A*STAR priorities - Assisting in the management of A*STAR engagements and interests at multilateral forums Requirements - Degree in Science or related field - Knowledge of Science, Technology & Innovation policies and related issues would be advantageous - Interest in geopolitical issues and demonstrated ability to engage people from diverse cultures and nationalities - Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for details - Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills
