Senior Legal Consultant

JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Senior Legal Consultant We are a well-established and reputable law firm based in Jeddah, with over 50 years of experience and a strong presence in the Saudi legal market. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking to expand our team by recruiting experienced and highly qualified Senior Legal Consultants. Job Summary The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality legal advisory services, managing complex transactions, and supporting clients across a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. * Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements, contracts, and other legal documentation. * Advise clients on corporate structuring, governance, regulatory compliance, and related legal matters. * Lead and support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including legal due diligence, transaction structuring, and preparation of transaction documentation. * Advise on corporate liquidation, restructuring, and related legal procedures. * Handle capital markets transactions and provide advice on applicable laws and regulatory frameworks. * Provide legal support and advice on employment and labor law matters. * Advise clients on e-commerce, commercial transactions, and other business-related legal matters. * Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, reports, and other legal documents. * Conduct legal research and remain up to date with relevant legislative and regulatory developments. * Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other relevant stakeholders as required. Qualifications & Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.). * A Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) or other relevant professional qualifications will be considered an advantage. * Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant legal experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department. * Demonstrated experience and expertise in the following areas: * Corporate Law * Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) * Corporate Liquidation and Restructuring * Capital Markets Transactions * Employment and Labor Law * Legal Advisory Services * E-commerce Law * Commercial Transactions * Strong legal drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage. * Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, work effectively under pressure, and consistently deliver high-quality legal services. * Strong attention to detail, professionalism, commercial awareness, and client-management skills.
