Senior Estimator (Fit-out)

SCOPE: The Senior Estimator (fit-out) is responsible for providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, overseeing the estimation process, and ensuring alignment with project requirements and budgets. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Cost Estimation: - Develop detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Project Oversight: - Lead and oversee the estimation process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with project objectives and deadlines. Bid Preparation: - Prepare comprehensive bids and proposals, incorporating accurate cost estimates and ensuring alignment with client requirements. Team Management: - Supervise and guide estimation teams, providing mentorship and ensuring the accuracy and quality of estimations. Risk Assessment: - Identify and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties in cost estimates, providing recommendations for mitigation. Stakeholder Collaboration: - Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and contractors, to understand project scopes and requirements. Primary Deliverables: - Precise and On Time submission of any type of documents/reports/data. - Complete tasks efficiently and stay within budget as part of your job responsibilities Secondary Deliverables: - Provide input to other departments or parties as needed on time. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, considering all relevant factors. - Lead and oversee the estimation process, ensuring compliance with project objectives and timelines. - Prepare comprehensive bids and proposals, aligning with client requirements and budget constraints. - Supervise and mentor estimation teams, ensuring accuracy and quality in estimations. - Assess and mitigate potential risks and uncertainties in cost estimates. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project scopes and requirements. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, conflict of interest, standards, rules and regulations at all times. - Always prioritize keeping employee information and sensitive data confidential - Prioritize and ensure full compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies established by the company. - Accurate and On Time submissions of balanced scorecards. - Maintain supportive documentation to substantiate the actual performance for all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). SKILLS: - Cost estimation, project management, risk assessment. - Bid preparation, team management, budget analysis. - Communication, leadership, negotiation, attention to detail.
