The Opportunity HEISCO is seeking a seasoned Project Director – Offshore & Marine Construction to lead the execution of major offshore and marine projects in Kuwait and across the region. This executive leadership position is ideal for a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience managing large-scale offshore, marine, and coastal infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery of complex EPC projects, including offshore facilities, marine structures, dredging works, jetties, pipelines, ports, and coastal developments, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, commercial performance, and client satisfaction. As Project Director, you will play a critical role in driving project success while leading multidisciplinary teams and partnering with clients, contractors, and stakeholders on strategically important marine developments. Key Responsibilities - Provide overall leadership and direction for the successful execution of offshore and marine construction projects. - Develop and implement project execution strategies to ensure delivery within scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements. - Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, marine operations, and commissioning. - Oversee offshore construction activities, marine logistics, heavy lifting operations, vessel coordination, and subcontractor performance. - Manage client relationships and serve as the primary interface with executive stakeholders and project sponsors. - Drive project controls, risk management, cost optimization, and schedule performance. - Ensure compliance with international marine construction standards, contractual requirements, and HSE regulations. - Direct commercial and contractual matters, including claims management, change orders, and project profitability. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. - Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore, marine construction, or EPC project delivery. - Extensive knowledge of marine construction methodologies, offshore operations, coastal developments, dredging, jetties, ports, and offshore structures. - Strong understanding of project management, commercial management, contracts, and project controls. - Demonstrated success in managing major EPC projects with high-value budgets and complex stakeholder environments. - Experience managing offshore construction vessels, marine logistics, and subcontractor operations.
