Job Description

Role Description This full-time, on-site Inspector (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical) role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Inspector will perform daily site inspections across civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. Responsibilities include monitoring construction activities, verifying materials and workmanship, reviewing contractor methods, and identifying non-conformities or potential issues. The role involves coordinating with project managers, contractors, and consultants, documenting inspection findings, issuing reports, and supporting the resolution of quality or safety concerns. The Inspector will also assist in implementing quality control procedures and contribute to continuous improvement in construction and infrastructure delivery. Qualifications - Strong site inspections and general inspection experience for civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical works. - Proficiency in quality control processes, including verification of materials, workmanship, and adherence to codes and standards. - Knowledge of asphalt works and related civil infrastructure activities. - Experience in construction management, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams and contractors. - Relevant technical degree or diploma in civil engineering, architecture, mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field. - Familiarity with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. - Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, manage multiple inspection tasks, and adapt to dynamic project requirements. - Professional certifications in inspection, quality control, or construction management are an advantage.
