Our client is premium private members’ club in Dubai, offering an exclusive hospitality experience with refined dining, personalised service, and a strong focus on member engagement. Role Purpose The Assistant Bar Manager supports the Bar Manager in delivering a refined, consistent, and welcoming bar experience where members feel known and confident in the quality of service. This role combines hands-on service with leadership support, helping to maintain exceptional standards while fostering pride, trust, and belonging within the bar team. Key Responsibilities - Support daily bar operations, ensuring service is delivered to the highest standards - Lead by example during service, maintaining calm, polished, and professional execution - Build rapport with members, understanding preferences and encouraging repeat engagement - Assist with training and supervising bartending teams - Support stock management, ordering, and cost controls - Ensure responsible service, licensing compliance, and service consistency - Step in to manage the bar operation in the absence of the Bar Manager Ideal Background - Supervisory or assistant management experience in high-end hospitality - Background in a private members club, five-star hotel, or premium bar environment preferred - Strong knowledge of cocktails, premium spirits, and service etiquette - Fluent English communication skills with a confident and personable style - Highly reliable, professional, and trusted in member-facing environments Core Competencies - Relationship-led service & member engagement - Service excellence & product knowledge - Leadership support & team coordination - Reliability, consistency & trust - Pride, professionalism & sense of belonging
