Job Description
Responsibilities - Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, and fire suppression systems. - Perform environmental monitoring checks (temperature, humidity, and water leakage). - Support facility maintenance, equipment installation, and cable management activities. - Manage physical security operations, including access control, CCTV monitoring, and visitor management. - Monitor IT systems and perform basic troubleshooting, system administration, and user access management. - Support incident response, service requests, backup operations, and disaster recovery activities. - Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, operational logs, and reports. - Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Requirements - Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field. - Atleast 4 years of experience in Data Centre Operations, IT Operations, or Facilities Management. - Understanding of critical infrastructure systems, IT operations, and security controls. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to work in a shift-based environment and respond to operational incidents when required. Preferred Certifications - ITIL Foundation - Data Centre Operations Certification - Basic IT Infrastructure Certifications - Security Awareness Certification
