(Senior) Quality Engineer - Electrical / Flooring & Decoratives

Our client, a leading European home improvement retailer, is expanding its Hong Kong sourcing QA team and seeking a (Senior) Quality Engineer to take ownership of a diverse product portfolio. The Products: Heating & cooling appliances, SDA, electricals OR flooring and decorative items The Role: - Own quality throughout NPD - from pilot to mass production - Partner with suppliers, 3rd-party labs, and European stakeholders - Conduct factory audits in China (~30% travel) - Drive CAPA, supplier improvement, and CE/UKCA legal compliance You Have: - 6-8+ years in sourcing QA (buying office / OEM / lab preferred) - Engineering degree (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial) - Background in either: - Electrical/Heating/Cooling - with LVD / IEC 60335 exposure, OR - Hardlines / Toys - with relevant safety standards (EN 71, ASTM, etc.) - Solid knowledge of either LVD / IEC 60335 (electrical side) OR die-casting / ceramics / textile processes (decorative side) - both are a plus - Fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin - Strong project management and influencing skills Package & Benefits: - Guaranteed double pay - Discretionary performance bonus up to 30% of annual income - 18+1 AL to start - 3 days WFH per week (hybrid model) - Best-in-class medical plan - company's top-tier coverage Click "Apply Now" to apply for this position or call Ari Tsang at +852 3180 4957 for a confidential discussion.
