🚢 We're Hiring: Vessel Accountant! 🚢 We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Vessel Accountant to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have experience in vessel accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Salary: Up to S$4,500 per monthResponsibilities - Maintain accurate accounting records for assigned vessels. - Prepare monthly vessel accounts and financial reports. - Process supplier invoices, vessel expenses, and crew-related costs. - Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations. - Track vessel operating expenses against approved budgets. - Prepare reports for vessel owners and ensure expenses are correctly recorded. - Work with vessel managers, procurement, crewing teams, and vendors on accounting matters. - Check payment documents and arrange payments for approved expenses. - Support month-end and year-end closing, including accruals and journal entries. - Assist with audits and ensure accounting procedures and controls are followed.Requirements - Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in shipping, ship management, or maritime companies. - Good knowledge of accounting, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; experience with shipping accounting software is an advantage. - Detail-oriented with good communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
