Job Description
Project Engineer – UAE Location: Dubai, UAE Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily site operations and ensure progress aligns with the approved project schedule and baseline. - Monitor planned vs. actual progress and proactively identify potential delays in construction or material procurement. - Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, and site teams. - Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and UAE requirements. - Manage project documentation, including drawings, permits, progress reports, inspections, and records. - Identify and resolve technical, construction, and coordination issues promptly. - Monitor the procurement lifecycle, including orders, invoices, deliveries, loading/unloading, material inspection, and quality control. - Ensure procured materials meet approved specifications and are available in line with the project programme. - Report key milestones, progress, risks, challenges, and potential delays to the Line Manager. - Ensure quality requirements are consistently implemented across procurement, drawings, and site execution. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry. - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, UAE regulations, and quality standards. - Experience in project progress monitoring, procurement coordination, and site management. - Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents. - Strong communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills. - UAE construction experience is preferred.
