About the job Organization: Rise Research Location: China (Full-time, extensive travel required) Compensation: Competitive + performance-based Start Date: Immediate About the Role As Head of China Growth & Partnerships, you'll build and own Rise Research's presence in China. You'll develop partnerships with schools, educational counsellors, agencies, and other key stakeholders to drive student enrollment and establish RISE as a leading research mentorship platform for ambitious students. Responsibilities - Build and manage partnerships with international/bilingual schools, educational counsellors, and education agencies. - Drive student enrollment through partnerships, referrals, and direct customer acquisition. - Travel extensively across China to meet schools, counsellors, and families in person. - Develop China-specific acquisition channels across Xiaohongshu (RED), WeChat, Douyin, and other digital platforms. - Represent Rise Research on the ground and provide market insights to the founders and product team. - Build a strong network of counsellors and partners who can generate recurring student referrals. - Track partnership pipeline, channel performance, and enrollment metrics. You're a Fit If You Have - Strong experience in premium/high-end education in China, ideally in education consulting, study abroad, or a major education company. - Fluent in English and Mandarin, written and spoken. - An existing network of schools, counsellors, agencies, or other education stakeholders in China. - Experience with digital customer acquisition is a strong plus. - Comfortable traveling extensively and building relationships face-to-face. - Entrepreneurial, highly self-directed, and comfortable operating in an early-stage startup.
