Job Description

Senior Engineer, Mechanical Rotary - Site Abu Dhabi We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotary Equipment to join our PMC team for a major oil & gas project. The successful candidate will provide mechanical engineering support and technical oversight for rotating equipment installation, construction, testing, commissioning and start-up activities at site. Minimum Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. - Minimum 12–15 years of relevant oil & gas experience, preferably with major EPC/PMC organizations. - Strong experience in rotating equipment engineering, construction, installation and commissioning. - Previous experience working in a PMC site environment is highly preferred. - Experience in upstream oil & gas, gas processing, gas treatment, production facilities or similar projects is preferred. - Strong experience with pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes and mechanical packages. - Experience working with EPC contractors, equipment vendors and specialist subcontractors. - Good understanding of mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. - Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards such as API, ASME, ISO and applicable project specifications. - Strong understanding of equipment alignment, vibration, lubrication, piping connections and rotating equipment installation requirements. - Excellent coordination, communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work effectively in a site-based, multicultural project environment.
