Job Description

Responsibilities: - Drive production efficiency, capacity optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. - Support the software and automation aspects of manufacturing projects through programming and optimization of manufacturing equipment. - Lead and support continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing methodologies. - Provide guidance and training to production teams on Lean principles and continuous improvement practices. - Analyse production demand and capacity requirements to identify gaps and constraints. - Support production line balancing and process optimization to improve throughput and minimize bottlenecks. - Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency. - Apply Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and standardised work. - Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities. - Support new product introduction and process changes from a capacity and production readiness perspective. Requirements: - At least 5+ years experience in programming or software systems for manufacturing, industrial engineering, production engineering, or Lean Manufacturing. - Manufacturing background required
