Stewarding Shift Leader

Job Description Summary- We are currently seeking a Stewarding Shift Leader to oversee and coordinate the activities of the kitchen stewards to ensure a clean and organized work environment in our establishment. Job Responsibility- - Supervise and lead a team of kitchen stewards during shifts - Ensure cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas including equipment, utensils, and workstations - Train new stewards on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols - Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment - Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations - Manage schedules and assign tasks to stewards - Handle any issues or conflicts within the team Candidate Requirements- - Proven experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry - Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to multitask and work under pressure - Attention to detail and organizational skills Skills Strong leadership abilities - Excellent communication skills - Time management and organizational skills - Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures - Ability to handle high-stress situations - Problem-solving skills - Attention to detail - Team management and coordination skills - Ability to delegate tasks effectively - Understanding of inventory management processes
