About the Company Stafmed is currently recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist for an exciting full-time position with a leading hospital in the UAE. About the Role We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Gastroenterologist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions, including complex gastroenterological disorders. The successful candidate will join a progressive clinical environment committed to delivering advanced, patient-centred gastroenterology services. Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to adult patients - Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions - Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures - Manage complex gastroenterological and liver-related cases - Perform upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy as required - Develop personalised, evidence-based treatment plans - Provide comprehensive pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives - Support departmental education, teaching, and service development Qualifications - Board certification in Gastroenterology - Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, German Facharzt, French DES, or an equivalent recognised qualification - Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Gastroenterology - Strong experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy - Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP Required Skills - Comprehensive experience in Gastroenterology - Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy - Strong experience in upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy - Experience managing complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions - Strong clinical and procedural decision-making skills - Excellent communication and patient-centred care skills - Strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and service quality Compensation An attractive tax-free package will be offered based on qualifications, clinical expertise, and experience.
